Camp St. Vincent is the only free summer camp dedicated to serving children experiencing homelessness in the Baltimore region.

This year, the need is more urgent than ever, with over 150 campers needing support. Camp St. Vincent provides children experiencing homelessness with an unforgettable and transformational camp experience and addresses the negative impact of homelessness on children’s unique academic, social and emotional needs. Your support can make a significant difference in their lives, providing them with the stability and care they need to thrive during the summer months.

Camp St. Vincent’s unique curriculum is designed to mitigate summer learning loss. Last year 98% of campers maintained or advanced their reading level and 81% maintained or advanced their math skill level over the eight weeks. Camp St. Vincent also meets the unique social-emotional needs of campers who gain acceptance from their peers and trained counselors that can assist in providing a sense of normalcy.

How to Help

sponsor a camper

  • $70 sponsors a child for a day of camp
  • $100 provides STEM materials for a week of science enrichment
  • $125 provides one day of snacks for all campers
  • $350 sponsors a child for a week of camp
  • $2,800 sponsors a child for the entire summer

HIGH SCHOOL volunteer HOURS

Are you a high school student between the ages of 15-19 years old looking to gain service hours? Volunteer with Camp St. Vincent and help children experiencing homelessness have a fun summer!
