Corporate Volunteers Opportunities

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore offers authentic, in-and-out of office volunteer opportunities for businesses of any size. Through our programs, your employees can be empowered to participate in making their community a better place while fostering organizational morale.

Corporate Volunteer Opportunities at Our Program Sites:

  • Cook a Meal at a Family Shelter

    Provide a meal for one of our family shelters. Groups prepare and serve on site. This is a weekend opportunity (Sat & Sun).

  • Host a Workshop or Activity at a Family Shelter

    Some ideas include:

    • Lead a game evening/afternoon for the children
    • Lead an arts & crafts project for the children
    • Hold an outdoor game day on the weekend
    • Lead holiday themed activities
    • Provide a workshop for parents (interview skills, financial literacy, nutrition)
    • Hold a spa day for parents (yoga, stretching, skin care)
    • Hold a holiday party for families
  • Volunteer at Beans & Bread

    Opportunities include:

    • Help prepare and serve a meal for clients at our drop-in Beans & Bread Center
    • Do a trash pick-up
    • Group size is limited to 10 people maximum due to space constraints
  • Special Projects

    Occasionally we need help with special projects, such as: organizing storage space, assembling welcome baskets and toiletry kits, doing trash pick-ups, painting, or landscaping.

Off-Site Corporate Volunteer Opportunities

  • Bagged Breakfasts or Lunches

    This service project is a great way for co-workers to connect and build camaraderie while doing something good for the community. Breakfast and lunch bags are crucial donations for helping us make sure our clients get healthy, substantial meals.

  • Donate & Assemble Welcome Baskets

    Families moving into shelter often are in need of basic items such as linens and toiletries. Please submit the Group Volunteer Interest Form and someone from our team will reach out to provide the list of highest needs Welcome Basket items as well as coordinate the best drop-off time.

  • Host an Office Donation Drive

    Office drives are a great way to get your office involved. Whether it’s a holiday event or a friendly competition, it’s bound to bring coworkers together! Please submit the Group Volunteer Interest Form prior to scheduling.

  • Adopt a Head Start Classroom

    This program helps fund our Head Start operations. By providing books, school supplies, healthy snacks, and other essential items to one classroom, your company is providing vital opportunities through education.

  • Host a Fundraiser

    Fundraisers are a great way to show your support for the clients of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore. In the past, groups have hosted trivia nights.
