Bowls 2010
This year’s Empty Bowls event, which took place on the weekend of March 19 and 20, might be the best one yet! Close to 350 people attended the Golden Ladle Reception, and over 1,100 people came out for the Souper Supper! Nearly 2,000 bowls were donated to the event, and 23 restaurants donated soup to serve to the guests. Sponsorship dollars exceeded the goal and advertisements and promotions were featured on WBAL-TV, The Daily Record, The Baltimore Sun and many local radio stations.
